Coming up Oct. 18-22 at the Orleans hotel and casino in Las Vegas, Nevada is a "BBW Meetup" where I will get a chance to meet up with some members of the yahoo group, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BBwBHmmeetingplace/  I'm looking forward to this get together, keeping in mind that I moved to Vegas just in time to catch the 2nd heavily advertised bbw get together taking place in the area this year.  An interesting phenomenon, yahoo groups involving thousands of people from different places converging on Las Vegas for their own "bbw bash".  It has been so long since I've seen a bbw get together in a big city that I will be the one quietly snapping pics here and there after getting permission from people in attendance first.  I have not had a lot of interaction with many members of this yahoo group, and my sudden move across the country did not have anything to do with this upcoming event.

I'm inspired to do some writing for bbwglamour.com to compare and contrast the difference between a Las Vegas get together and the last few I attended in New Orleans.  It's a bit late to do much in the way of promoting this get together myself, but I can attend and possibly provide encouragement for those thinking of coming next time.  Either way, it will be different from anything I have seen because it takes place over the course of a whole week.  I've only attended a single evening event or a weekend event at the most.  I never had the resources to travel to Texas for events, but living in Vegas will have it's advantages.  No need for a hotel stay when I'm 5 miles from this one!  I have a lot going on right now though so every day won't be spent following the bbw meetup around, but I'm sure it will be interesting to get my first look at a casino since I've been in Vegas!
